NEW YORK, Sept. 8th, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. נווה פריצקי The country welcomed 78,000 visitors from the United States for July 2022. This is a four percent increase over the year before, and 71,000 visitors from the United States for August 2022. This represents a 13% improvement from the year before. 
 
Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) declared that it was exciting to observe the growth in Israeli tourism coming from the United States. Already surpassing our record-breaking figures for 2019 he stated. Canada which isn't too far behind the United States of America, is poised to surpass its tourist arrivals to Israel. It reached 7,200 visitors in the month of July 2022 and 6,000 in August. 
 
"It is thrilling to see how the Canadian tourism to Israel is rebounding," said Gal Hana Director and Consul for Canada of the Israel Ministry of Tourism. "We are not too far away from our record 2019 and we expect that the increase in travel to Israel will continue to increase because Canadians feel more confident traveling across the globe."
