Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking tourism Entry Numbers - United States
NEW YORK - September 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -new record-breaking tourism arrivals from the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. The country welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States during July 2022 which is an increase of 4% over the year before and 71,000 travelers from the United States during August 2022. This is a 13% increase over 2019. 
 
"It is so exciting to witness a new increase in tourism to Israel from the United States, already reaching the record-breaking levels of 2019" stated Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. נווה פריצקי "The United States is our number one market for travel to Israel prior to the outbreak of COVID-19, we were celebrating record-breaking tourist numbers each month. We're thrilled to witness an improvement in the trend and we anticipate an upswing for the months and years to be." 
 
Not far behind the United States, Canada is also on track to exceed the number of tourists visiting Israel by 7,200 tourists in July 2022 , and 6000 in August. 
 
Gal Hana is the Consul and Director for Canada within the Israel Ministry of Tourism. "We are not too far away from our record in 2019 and we expect that the growth in travels to Israel will continue to increase as Canadians are more comfortable traveling abroad."
