Neve Paritzki Israel celebrates record-breaking tourism entry From the United States
NEW YORK - Sep. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- The Israel Ministry of Tourism today unveiled new records for tourist arrivals in Israel from the United States in July and august. 78,000 visitors from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This represents a 4 percentage increase over 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% higher than in the year 2019. 
 
Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) said it was exciting to observe an increase in tourism to Israel coming from the United States. Already surpassing our record-breaking figures for 2019, he said. "The United States has been our largest destination for tourism to Israel that is inbound. Prior to the outbreak of COVID-19, we had record number of Israeli tourism entries each month. 
 
Canada is not far from that of the United States of America, is poised to surpass the number of tourists visiting Israel. It had 7,200 tourists in July 2022 as well as 6,000 tourists in August.

Israel welcomed more that 4.6 million international visitors in the year 2019, with 969.600 being from the United States. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all travelers, regardless if they are vaccination-free. נווה פריצקי Israel already has hosted more than 600,000 visitors.
