“Oh my. Those two are really going at it.” Helen stood in the back of the crowd peering into the living room where two people were giving an early showing of the party's activities. The large man repeatedly slammed his waist into the woman’s rear which bounced like gelatin with every thrust. It had been nearly half an hour since they started as the two finally reached climax with the heavier man softly collapsing onto the woman who began transforming back into her regular self. With the entertainment over Helen turned and began making her way down the hallway where she bumped into the party host, Kelley, who was holding a festively decorated plastic container brimming with freshly made gingerbread cookies. “Hey Hellen, I didn’t get the chance to chat with you when I let you in. How are you and your boyfriend doing?” “Oh, it’s okay. I know you’re busy being a host and making these delicious cookies for everyone but…” Helen paused and looked away from Kelley. “Drew and I aren’t together anymore. Found out he was cheating on me with one of his coworkers so…” “I am so sorry to hear that Helen. Here,” Kelley opened the lid from the plastic container and gently pushed it nearer to Helen, “I’ll let you have first pick.” “Thank you Kelley.” Helen looked won at the wide assortment of vastly different gingerbread men cookies, letting the mixture of cinnamon and ginger waft into her nostrils before selecting a miniature one out who looked like it was wearing a Santa hat and some stockings. “A mini one this time?” Kelley raised an eyebrow at Helen. “You do know what that one does, right?” Helen nodded. “I want to meet new people.” She opened her mouth and tossed the bite-sized gingerbread man in one bite. “Plus I’m trying to watch my calories so this is a win-win for me.” “As long as you’re happy.” Kelley smiled at Helen as she watched her craftsmanship begin its work on Helen. Her head followed Helen’s transformation, tilting down to keep her in her sight as Helen’s light brown hair turned a gorgeous vibrant red. Helen’s clothes rapidly became ill-fitting as her arms slid into her sweater’s sleeves and the excess fabric of her pants bunched up around her legs. Pretty soon Kelley lost sight of Helen as she disappeared into the pile of clothes. Shortly after Helen was out of sight amidst her clothes Kelley saw beams of glittering white light beam from cracks in the pile of clothes followed by a poof of magical sparkles. Where the pile of clothes once was, once the cloud of glittering magic dissipated, stood a doll-sized Helen who donned a small christmas hat and a pair of white stockings. “Now didn’t you turn out just adorable!” Kelley squatted down and scooped the tiny Helen up into her hands. “Let’s get you settled at the mini Christmas village.” Kelley dropped Helen into a small breast pocket in her apron and made her way to the living room. Helen sat snugly against Kelley’s breast, riding safely in her pocket as she was escorted to what was known as ‘The Miniature Christmas Village’. If someone comes to the party alone and chooses the small gingerbread man cookie they’re put up there until someone helps them transform back. That way they don’t get squashed or trampled. “Here you go.” Kelley stopped in front of the fireplace and grabbed a snowglobe atop its mantle which she twisted the top open of. She scooped Helen from her aprons pocket, sat her gently inside the snowglobe, grabbed a small green ribbon which was tied to a sign which read ‘Naughty’ and tied the other end around Helen’s wrists before setting her back atop the fireplace's mantle among the miniature Christmas Village. “Don’t enjoy yourself too much while you wait.” Kelley taunted Helen as she turned a sign hanging above the snowglobe so it read ‘Mini Inside’. Helen watched through the warped glass as Kelley walked away and began handing out cookies to the other party goers. She couldn’t make out much of the details from within the snowglobe, just general shapes and colors which moved about the living room. She figured most people were enjoying the initial transformations and that someone would notice her in the snow globe once things settled down again. But before things could settle down someone stood up from the couch and Helen could barely make out their hair changing from brown to red. Suddenly the person fell backwards and collided with the fireplace, shaking everything on the mantle as well as knocking the sign down onto the floor. “Woah! Watch it!” Helen shouted out, but from what she could tell no one had heard her. The person eventually staggered forward and away from the fireplace but in the chaos they caused no one seemed to notice the sign that had fallen to the floor and tumbled behind the end table. At first Helen paid it no mind either, thinking that someone would inevitably check up on her and even if no one did Kelley at least knew she was up here. “Hey! I’m up here! Anyone!?” Helen shouted, unaware that her voice was muffled by the glass of the snow globe. She had been stuck up on the fireplace mantle for hours at this point as she watched as more and more of the crowd cleared out with people leaving the party. “Hello?!” Eventually the living room was quiet albeit from the clatter and humming that came from Kelley as she cleaned up from the party. “Kelley! I’m still up here! Kelley!” Kelley, unable to hear Helen, went about her business cleaning up after her guests. Once done she plopped down onto the couch and kicked her feet up onto the coffee table. “Hah,” She sighed, “I love hosting this party but man am I glad it’s nice and quiet now…” Kelly paused and sat up straight in her spot. “Am I missing something?” She scanned the room, unsure what she was looking for but she felt as if she was forgetting something. “Kelley! I’m up here!” “Hmm,” Kelley shrugged and slumped back onto the couch. “If it was important I’ll remember it later.”
