Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, born on 7 December th, 1963 in Edo State, Nigeria, was raised in a family of faith, supported by his loving and dedicated parents. He is the oldest son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the pioneers of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina who is the matriarch of the Oyakhilome family who imprinted her divine grace upon her son at an early age. 
 
The LoveWorld ministry is actively supported by all members of the family. Reverend Ken is Ken's brother , and a member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. Pastor Chris has two children: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon has decided to follow her father's model of sharing the gospel of God with the world and is also known as CSO, she is a talented gospel artist, award-winning and a member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts family. 
 
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his education in Edo College. After a scholarship was granted to pursue a degree in architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University), he received the BSc degree in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He has also been awarded an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He received his calling from God to be a minister and to serve the Lord.

LoveWorldSAT is the first Christian TV station to broadcast from Africa all day, on air-free networks. There are LoveWorld satellite and cable television stations around the globe. 
 
Christ Embassy is present in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria as well as South Africa. It also has strong representations in the United Kingdom, Canada, United States, and South Africa. The ministry has two healing schools that are located in South Africa.

The Man, God, has founded NGOs with the mission to offer vital assistance and hope. COFI is a partnership of five who are committed to improving the living conditions in the least-served regions. 
 
The InnerCity Mission for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps(VMC), Traga Care International Foundation [TCIFthe Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) and Bible For All Mission are all part of COFI.
