Changelog of WhatsApp beta for iOS 2.16.7.175:

01) Bugs fix.
02) Updated all localizations.
03) WhatsApp recognizes in WhatsApp > WhatsApp Web/Desktop if WhatsApp Desktop is connected (actually if WhatsApp Desktop is connected, WhatsApp reports you that a Google Chrome browser is connected).
04) Added Peek and Pop actions when you are choosing a photo to share in WhatsApp.
05) Many improvements for public groups.
06) WhatsApp added quoted messages in recent releases, but this wasn't enough.. WhatsApp added mentions in 2.16.7.175 (HIDDEN FEATURE).
When the feature will be unlocked (I will publish screenshots when this will be possible), I will understand how to mention a contact. Probably this will work in groups only. Wait more confirmations about this feature reading next @WABetaInfo tweets.
07) More checks about spam audio/video calls added.
08) Many improvements for recording audio calls and for voice mail.
09) More checks about the identity changed of contacts (End-to-End check).
10) Many improvements for GIFs.
11) Added more checks about length of messages.

NOTE:
WhatsApp mentions and public groups screenshots will be published soon!
