The Angel whispered

The Angel whispered: Your work is done here and it is now time to go.
Your tasks are complete, no more for you to sow.
You brought light to the dreams of freedom
Now you must leave this earthly kingdom.

The friends and comrades you leave behind
Will take the dreams of freedom you defined
And march onward on their earthly plain
Proclaiming your death was not in vain.

Your memory, work and dreams will continue
As your comrades carry on the work for you.
Your comrades will continue to release
The binds that shackle and see earthly peace.

The Angel whispered: Come with me oh brave one
Your work here is now done.
