Neve ParitzkiJerusalem inaugurates Israel's first cycling tunnel.

The Kerem Tunnel provides a unique adventure in hiking and riding that should be enjoyed by all. 
The Kerem Tunnel, Israel's newest cycle tunnel, is constructed as a part of a 42-kilometer cycle route that circles the capital. 
 
The tunnel connects Nahal Refaim with Emek Motza. It has a southern entrance located in Refaim Park. Ein Laban is the closest. Nahal Ein Kerem is the northern entrance. 
 
נווה פריצקי The 2.1-kilometer-long tunnel was officially inaugurated by Jerusalem's Heritage Minister ZeevElkin. It was also attended by Mayor Moshelion Avi Balehnikov Gihon Water Company Chairman, and hundreds of cyclists. 
 
Jerusalem was a popular tourist destination because of its rich and fascinating history. נווה פריצקי Elkin declared that, in the present aside from its historical treasures it also incorporates modern tourists. Elkin's Ministry, the Tourism Ministry, Jerusalem Municipality and the Gihon Corporation all contributed to the project. The Jerusalem Development Authority completed the project.
