>Real Name: Ryusei Sugiyama
HN: Smokin' Sexy
>Career: Pro Hero (+15 XP, +15 QP)
>Type:
Battle -1 XP (Athletics, Agility), Underground -2 XP (Stealth)
>Modifiers:
Other Career (-1 XP) 11 XP
When Ryusei isn't chasing down villains and subduing them with his smoke and stick, he works as a kenjutsu instructor. Sort of. He doesn't really have any pupils at the moment due to them moving on to other things. They were either looking for kendo, or found his passionate teaching too abrasive in addition to his harsh regimens.

>Costume: Mundane
>General Modifiers:
Martial Arts x3 (Kenjutsu) -6 XP
Peak Condition (Reflexes) -4 XP
Weapon (A wooden bokuto and actual carbon steel katana) -2 XP
He rarely draws his steel katana, instead opting for his wooden bokuto to knock villains unconscious in tandem with his quirk. He's a hero, not an executioner.
Gadget (Smoke Grenade) -1 XP
Wealth (Poor and in debt) +2XP

>Quirk: [Sticky Smoke]
Emitter: Elemental (Smoke) (-2 QP)
Function: Movement, Shape, Transmutation (-9QP, -1XP)
Duration: Concentration
Quantity: Medium (-1 XP)
Method: Tactile (+2QP)
>Quirk Modifier:
Quirk Refinement x4 (-4 QP)
(Overuse of this quirk will physically strain Ryusei to a greater degree, up to 40% faster than the average Quirk user.)
Ryusei's Quirk [Sticky Smoke] lets him control nearby smoke at his enemies to disorient them, because it's not easy to do anything with smoke burning your eyes and filling your lungs. He can blow smoke out of his mouth if it's already in there, or use some nearby smoke to chuck at his opponents. Ryusei can even change the shape of the smoke, almost like a balloon animal. Of course, making something like a spear made of smoke won't really do much in terms of functionality, BUT he thinks it looks cool, which is more important. The real strength is the fact that it sticks to an area for as long as he concentrates. Ryusei likes to describe the quirk's functionality most of the time as "super effective pocket sand". You know, if pocket sand could cause burns and cancer.

As a Pro-Hero, Ryusei is always patrolling at night, always on the lookout for villainy. Or, so he says. He'll come out of some 24/7 convenience store in a dirty white tee, carrying a case of cheap beer and a pack of cigarettes. Being an underground hero has its perks, no one'll bother you for autographs and villains won't knock on your front door looking for a brawl--so he gets a little more free rein to slack off. Even when confronting most villains, he keeps his easygoing attitude, preferring to hunt and play with his food before he subdues them with his smoke and bokuto.

Despite the lackadaisical attitude he displays when no one is watching, he tries to keep up appearances around his fellow pros. Although, he does shy away from the idea of getting close to other pros in the scene as he never liked the idea of being a big name hero. Something about it just didn't sit right with him. Heroism should be something done out of the goodness out of one's heart, not for glory or fame. Not only that, he has mixed feelings towards his own role as a hero, feeling as if he's just going through the motions now. So many villains cuffed and sent off, but they don't stop coming back. Seems like he's making no difference in the world. This thought shakes his resolve as a hero, slowing pervading itself into his very idea of what it means to even be a hero.

When not performing his duties as a hero, he's usually sleeping in his dojo, listening to music, practicing his kenjutsu, cooking up leftovers, playing video games--normal shit to pass the time. He wishes he had new pupils to train, but no one comes over to his rickety ass dojo anyways, so he just ends up going through new equipment himself.
