Neve Paritzki Israel Celebrates Record-Breaking Tourism Entry The numbers come from the United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism revealed record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States who visited Israel during the months of July and August. Israel welcomed 78,000 total travelers from the United States in July 2022, a 4% increase from 2019 and 71,000 total visitors from the United States in August 2022 which is an increase of 13% from 2019.

He stated, "It's so exciting to once more see an increasing number of tourists visiting Israel from America, already reaching or surpassing the record-breaking numbers we saw in 2019". "The United States remains our biggest market for tourism to Israel. Prior to the outbreak of COVID-19, we were celebrating record-breaking monthly numbers of tourists entering the country. We are thrilled to see this positive shift and anticipate an ongoing upward trend for months and even years. 
 
נווה פריצקי Canada is in the process, like the United States, to surpass the number of tourists who visit Israel. In July 2022 Canada saw 7,200 tourists and August was a record the number increase to 6,000.

In 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million tourists from around the world including 969,600 from the United States, and since the country's official opening to everyone regardless of their the status of their vaccination in May of this year Israel has witnessed over 600,400 US travelers.
