Or be greedy and fight Isora to hope for a Coral drop. Hard runners will find these more relevant, Normal runners will probably be retreating as well. reappearing foes are listed at the top of each area, copy-paste the info again from previous sections if you need to. Check out this info dumped from the code for a literal list of encounter groups: https://pastebin.com/9409rwVC --LOWER SMC-- talk to Will o'Wisp if it's Full o'clock you can try attacking Willy with Pixie to deal 4+4 damage and hope it begs for mercy by joining you. recruit Kodama asap once MC is level 4 and learns Analyze, MC can punch Willy for 8, then try using Analyze to force a mercy. But Willy can heal himself with Deathtouch. Kodama usually does 6 or 7 so swing with Pixie. Willy: 10 HP. RESIST physical WEAK magic inconsequentially weak. Makakaja isn't very scary, Deathtouch and Kodama's Zan are the only magical attacks. Kodama: RESIST force WEAK fire can use Dia, usually to heal Shikigami. it's usually wise to take them out first. They only have 20 HP, your Shikigami can sometimes oneshot them. Preta: 30 HP. WEAK magic Feral Claw is powerful on Hard. not worth trying to Analyze, too dangerous. --UPPER SMC-- Willy, Kodama, Preta Shikigami: 48 HP. REPEL elec WEAK fire if you're farming to transform High Pixie, Sukunda can make long fights awful. talk to the remaining demon instead to end the fight and avoid reinforcements. Hua Po: RESIST fire WEAK ice if they go 1st they will always use Rakukaja. using Mabufu rock recommended, especially if you aren't level 5 yet (can't recruit demons higher level than your MC) if Hua Po uses Pester/Plead on them, they sometimes give 1 Chakra Drop. --OUTDOOR SHIBUYA-- Once MC has learned Ice Breath, switch back to Marogareh. If MC's elec weakness gets hit then that will waste time while the enemy takes more turns. Zhen: WEAK fire Hit these as hard as you can with Hua Po's Agi. Hope for Onyx drops to trade in for Magic Mirrors, Erthys, or Smoke Ball. --YOYOGI PARK WEST-- Pixie: RESIST elec only worth 2 exp. can drop Chakra Drop or Revival Bead. so it's probably better to kill them down to 1, then try to recruit, to avoid being interrupted. --SHIBUYA-- don't ingest Shiranui here unless you need to learn Fire Breath early! See Mou-Ryo's entry. don't forget to keep a lookout for recruits here, if your route needs any. Pixie is usually needed. Mou-Ryo: NULL death WEAK expel. But you don't have any expel-type moves. These are by far the most dangerous enemies here. Mazan can hit your whole team, Shiranui making you weak to force means you'll die. You can use Hua Po's Patra to fix the panic status Pulinpa influcts. Datsue-Ba: NULL mind WEAK elec if you're trying to recruit one and there are multiples, alternate Zio targets. if you can shock one, that one won't interrupt a Talk attempt. On Normal you probably need exp, on Hard you need to recruit one, but if your requirements are met, you can use Hua Po's Pester/Plead. At worst you'll get some pocket change or a Dis-Stun, but I often get Chakra Pots. Slime: 57 HP RESIST physical WEAK fire/expel Slime also takes double damage from all magic attacks. So this means Agi should be a one-shot. If you have many press turns to spare, consider finishing with Auto. Nekomata: DRAIN force WEAK elec you'll win in 2 turns. crit Feral Claw can 1shot your demons on Hard, live with it. *If you're looking for recruits, staying close to the terminal is as good as it gets. Go to Yoyogi Park if you badly need Pixie. --AMALA 1-- wow the encounters here suck so bad. on Normal you can ingest Iyomante for maximum safety vs Mou-Ryo's Pulinpa and Aeros's Marin Karin. if you don't have it, switch to Marogareh or Aeros's Zio will really hurt. Pester/Plead on solo Erthys/Aeros. You might get interrupted if there's more than 1, consider being greedy. The Megido Rock is very nice for Specter 1. Other possible rewards: Mazio Rock - useful mostly in second half of Great Underpass. It does 350 damage to Noah if you can haul one that far. Opal - trade for Attack Mirror with the 1 Turquoise you got from Forneus, great vs Dante 1 or Ose, or save it for Girimekhala. or trade for a Magic Mirror for easy Matador if you got 1 Onyx from Zhen. Aquamarine - trade for a Smoke Ball if you have spare Onyx. Unlikely you'll get 2 more to trade for a Bead Chain for +5000 macca bonus to the budget. Poison Arrow - I got this from a half-successful Pester one time?! great physical AoE damage for the boss. Mou-Ryo Erthys: WEAK force uses Rakukaja and Mazio, not very threatening. Much, much easier to kill than Aeros. Aeros: RESIST magic Zio hits pretty hard. Dia heals for 45, ouch. can use Marin Karin to charm your team, you only have 2 Dis-Charms at max. I like to use Sukunda so MC can land Lunge every time. Rakunda is worth using. use Pass to make Hua Po go last so you can attempt a Pester on the one with max HP. Choronzon: 155 HP. DRAIN fire RESIST physical WEAK force Extremely tanky, will probably use Berserk every turn which can double-hit the same target and seems likely to crit. Stone Gaze is in its moveset too. Haunt clan, so you can't talk it away, except during Full o'clock. summon Kodama or Will o'Wisp for Zan. Kill it fast with Ice Breath. --GINZA TOWN-- ingest Ankh if you have it, the only way you can die is to Angel's instant kill. Pixie, Kodama, Hua Po, Choronzon (these are only in the fountain room, Choronzon is very rare) Jack Frost: DRAIN ice WEAK fire ONLY appears in the first room with the fountain. You probably need to recruit him. He likes to use Gathering so you'll have several chances. Apsaras: 80 HP DRAIN elec WEAK fire tends to appear in the western corridor attached to the Repulse Bell room. use Hua Po's Pester/Plead for free Revival Bead. Angel: WEAK force won't appear in the fountain room. can use Hama, expel-type instant kill move. use Hua Po's Pester/Plead for free 420 macca, Maragi Rock, maybe Revival Bead. Chatterskull: DRAIN fire WEAK curse only Hard any% has a curse-type move in Toxic Cloud. Always uses Sukunda while at full HP. Hell Thrust hits hard but usually misses. Can use Last Resort and this hits for 110 on Hard. needs about 6 press turns of normal attacks to die. What an awful foe. Lilim: NULL elec WEAK ice A rare encounter, only appears in the north room with Rag's Jewelry and the Cathedral of Shadows. Hua Po can Pester/Plead for a Magic Mirror for easy Matador. Yaka: WEAK ice rare appears to the right of 4x Preta. attacks with Mazio, don't leave an elec weakness up. Also has Venom Claw. --GINZA outdoors-- Ankh for Angel's Hama is good, Wadatsumi to block Fomor's Mabufu is probably better. Zhen, Angel Fomor: NULL ice, 20% RESIST physical WEAK elec A little overly high level for this area, pretty dangerous foe. Can use Mabufu, Berserk, and Lunge, all of these hit way too hard. Focus down as hard as possible. --HARUMI WAREHOUSE-- Chatterskull Choronzon and Preta can appear in this room but not elsewhere. --GREAT UNDERPASS OF GINZA-- Kodama, Slime Sudama: 98 HP. RESIST force WEAK fire can rarely use Mazan, it will hurt a lot with Makakaja. If there's 4+ enemies, use a Maragi Rock instead of Fire Breath. only in the water: Isora: 132 HP. NULL ice WEAK fire uses Venom Bite and Ice Breath, Wadatsumi and Jack Frost will help protect you. Don't have Hua Po summoned unless you're planning to fight. will use Media while at lower HP, exploit this while trying to Beseech one with Shikigami. But this can mean you can't win if you run out of MP. if you have Riberama going, there can be lots of reinforcements. Use Pester/Plead on the last one to end the fight guaranteed, if you don't want to fight any more. --UNDERPASS AFTER MATADOR-- Kodama, Slime, Sudama, Chatterskull Blob: RESIST physical WEAK ice/expel Also takes double damage from all kinds of magic. Quite durable but also not dangerous, except for Zanma. Nozuchi: DRAIN force WEAK elec not too dangerous, Lunge doesn't hit as hard as Fomor's. Toxic Cloud is low damage but poison is annoying. They can rarely use Sacrifice so try not to leave one alive with low HP. Hard any% can talk them away. Fomor appears in the second half. --IKEBUKURO OUTDOORS-- Angel can appear so ingest Ankh. If you got the Magic Incense in the Zoshigaya Cemetery at Full, you have to time to walk to the northwest corner and get the Bead, then reach Ikebukuro's entrance just in time at rising 2/8. --IKEBUKURO TOWN-- Yaka Nekomata: DRAIN force WEAK elec can use Marin Karin and Feral Claw. pretty weak. Bicorn: RESIST ailments WEAK elec Charm Bite kinda hurts on Hard. Inugami: 132 HP NULL fire WEAK force uses Rakunda when going first. Attacks with Feral Bite, this can really hurt on Hard. Momunofu: RESIST physical WEAK ailments can use Focus and Lunge, this will oneshot on Hard. conclusion: these random encounters aren't very dangerous. I guess Kamudo would be safest if you have it? But on Hard you won't. I usually switch to Shiranui for maximum damage and accuracy from MC's boosted Breath for the Oni room fight, and to be prepped for the trial with Orthrus. Oni: RESIST physical WEAK nerve chances are your only nerve attack is Shibaboo, passed from Datsue-Ba. They will almost always use Berserk, sometimes War Cry. --MANTRA HQ-- Nekomata, Oni, Bicorn Taraka: NULL nerve WEAK ice likes to use Heat Wave, which hardly ever misses and crits often. and sometimes Rakukaja or Shibaboo. --MANTRA ROOF-- Hifumi unless a levelup is imminent. Badb Catha: RESIST physical WEAK elec level 23 and decent agility, low Magic stat may miss their spells. moveset is Attack, Needle Rush, Wing Buffet. An extremely dangerous foe on Hard. --ASSEMBLY OF NIHILO B10+11-- Hifumi is your best bet due to Koppa's Wing Buffet, especially if you have demons weak to force like Choronzon and Inugami. Wadatsumi is the next best option but Forneus will probably be dead before getting Mabufula off. Fomor Incubus: NULL curse WEAK force covers Koppa's weakness and vice versa. Beware of Life Drain on Hard, it can steal about 35 MP. Most dangerous attack is death element Evil Gaze, which reduces the target to 1 HP. But it misses often. Forneus: DRAIN ice WEAK elec Can use Mabufula and Stun Bite. Koppa: NULL force WEAK curse the poster child for why this dungeon sucks. Moveset is Tarukaja, Wing Buffet, Shibaboo, Gathering, Kamikaze. Always the top priority to take out if possible. --NIHILO B12-- On Hard you may want to switch MC to Shiranui. Fomor, Forneus, Incubus, Koppa Dis: DRAIN fire Can use Agilao to hit for about 120. If MC is weak to fire this is probably the new easiest way to die. Some routes will already have Uzume to provide null force, and Inugami has transformed into Makami, losing its force weakness. Kill every Dis you can, they can drop Opals which are an important gem for getting bonus Attack Mirrors. --NIHILO path to B14-- Wadatsumi here for sure, everything can show up and this is the only option that covers something with no drawback. Eligor: RESIST phys WEAK elec A full HP Eligor only ever uses Rakukaja. Otherwise he can attack with Berserk, Hell Thrust, and Mudo. --GINZA 2: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO-- Mantra's forces have invaded and the encounter groups are completely different. Shiranui is the safe option. Shikigami, Datsue-Ba, Oni Pyro Jack + Orthrus: DRAIN fire WEAK ice Orthrus can use War Cry and Stun Claw. Level 34 and about 300 HP. Pyro Jack will only use Agi and Maragi. Minakata likes the exp but might not be safe to leave out. If you're trying to recruit one, disable it with Dis's Makajam. --MANTRA HQ BASEMENT-- Shiranui for sure. Oni, Pyro Jack, Taraka, Yaka --ROAD TO PRISON-- Angel, Badb Catha, Zhen Archangel: NULL expel WEAK ice mostly uses Tarukaja and Diarama. not threatening. --KABUKICHO PRISON-- Iyomante objectively safest option to protect from Yaksini's Tentarafoo and Pisaca's Sonic Wave. Narukami is probably better due to Naga's Zionga and Raiju's Shock, especially to cover Uzume's weakness. Mizuchi rarely uses single target Bufula to hit MC's weakness but if it happens you're in danger. Preta, Yaka Naga: DRAIN elec WEAK fire has Hell Thrust that misses a lot and should be easily survivable. and Zionga. Pisaca: NULL death/curse/mind WEAK fire has Life Drain and Stun Claw and Sonic Wave. not scary. Mizuchi: 330 HP DRAIN elec NULL ice/death WEAK fire if they go first and use Makarakarn, just run. An insurmountable tempo loss. has Fog Breath and Bufula as well. Raiju: DRAIN elec WEAK force has Shock and Feral Claw. probably the most dangerous mook in here. for Normal any%, don't be shy about using Koppa's Wing Buffet to beat them, he only needs 33 MP for the boss fight. but spare MP is great to distribute with Makatora. fun trick from Hard any%: I like to grind here a bit instead of marching with Uzume. But if you summon Uzume over whoever goes 1st, she can use Mazan twice in a row. Yaksini: level 43. NULL force WEAK elec RUN. Binding Cry and Tentarafoo (high damage mind-element spell that can inflict panic) can really mess you up. Guillotine does high damage and can inflict stun. Yaksini can also use Dragon Eye to take 4 bonus turns. Her high level makes it her extra likely to dodge. --IKEBUKURO TUNNEL-- Kamudo is safest due to Sarutahiko. Anathema next best option for defending against Mothman's Evil Gaze and +8 magic. Sudama, Slime, Blob (only in the first room) Kelpie: RESIST ice WEAK force laughably weak. has Diarama, Pulinpa, Stun Bite. kill them for Jades, which are worth 15k apiece (get extra endgame Mitamas from Rag's Jewelry instead of compendium) after the terminal: Nue: NULL ice WEAK fire can use occasionally use Mamudo but not on turn 1. Watch out for War Cry, it'll possibly force MC to use Tornado over Fire Breath to finish in one turn. Black Ooze: NULL death WEAK elec Like Slime and Blob, takes double damage from all kinds of magic. Always uses Gathering on turn 0. Sarutahiko: 350 HP, NULL death/expel, has COUNTER Do not physically attack. Will use Dragon Eye when alone. Can use Focus, Berserk, and Hell Thrust. Very dangerous foe on Hard. Remember to use Uzume's Seduce on him once per game for a free Emerald. This special conversation will always work even if other demons are around. Mothman: 400+ HP level 43 NULL fire/death WEAK elec Only 8 agility but Mothman is surprisingly hard to hit. Most dangerous attack is Evil Gaze. only on the final platform: Shikome: WEAK fire beware of Stone Gaze. can summon more with Laughter. --ASAKUSA outdoors-- Ankh on IMMEDIATELY. Principality can hit you with Mahamaon for an instant kill. Angel, Archangel, Badb Catha Principality: level 28 NULL expel WEAK death/mind has Heat Wave and Mahamaon. --ASAKUSA town tunnels-- Anathema Hua Po, Sudama, Inugami, Nue, Shikome Pisaca, Sarutahiko, Orthrus --FAR GINZA (Nihilo's high-security area)-- Angel, Archangel, Principality Power: level 33 NULL expel WEAK nerve mostly uses Tarukaja but can hit pretty hard. You probably shouldn't be fighting this guy anyway. --NIHILO SECONDARY BASE-- march with Iyomante and all the null mind you can, Succubus is the only thing in here that can kill you. Incubus, Dis Succubus: 350 HP NULL curse/mind WEAK expel Use Tornado. Dormina can put your team to sleep and Eternal Rest will instant kill anyone asleep. She has single target Sexy Gaze so multiple null mind is good. --MARUNOUCHI outdoors-- Back to Ankh. Principality is here. Badb Catha, Principality, Power --OBELISK part 1-- Wadatsumi unless you have ice covered with something like Gui Xian/Xuanwu, or Arahabaki. Otherwise Iyomante is better. Marching with a null mind like Makami/Unicorn is mandatory. 3x Succubus can still potentially kill MC with Eternal Rest. Succubus, Dis, Eligor, Incubus Baphomet: REPEL death WEAK expel mostly uses Makakaja, sometimes Evil Gaze. Can rarely use Maragion. Karasu: REPEL force WEAK curse uses Attack and Agilao. Can be Seduced by Uzume. Arahabaki: 300 HP REPEL ice NULL expel/death/physical WEAK everything else Only uses Attack and Mabufula, but can use Dragon Eye when alone. This is why ice MUST be covered. --OBELISK B terminal-- Same stuff but now Berith is here. Add as much null/drain fire as you can but keep ice covered. Berith: DRAIN fire RESIST phys WEAK ice can use random-targeting Hellfire skill. It's like Tornado but not as strong. Can appear in groups of 3 so drain fire is worth. --OBELISK 97F+-- This is one screen after the Obelisk D terminal. The encounter groups change and now you can't cover everything. Do your best. On Normal I like Anathema. On Hard I like Narukami. Some swear by Kamudo due to Onkot. You're probably running from everything here, especially once you're past the Fountain of Life. March with Makami and some way to cover elec if possible. You can relax about ice, but Karasu and Arahabaki return in the Obelisk E room. Pazuzu: NULL death WEAK ice Kind of high level and tanky, only appears alone, not worth fighting. Can open with Hell Gaze, high chance of death-element instant kill. My reason for Anathema on Normal. On later turns he can use Wet Wind, it's as strong as Mazandyne. Phantom: level 43 NULL death RESIST phys WEAK force Be careful, they are high level and fast so even MC can miss Tornado sometimes. They have Ziodyne, Mazionga, and Mana Drain, the nastiest foe up here imo. Onkot: RESIST phys WEAK curse/nerve has Attack and Brutal Slash, which has a decent crit rate. Consider Minakata's Stun Gaze if you're running the Mothman route for Hard TDE. --AMALA 2-- March with Anathema (Legion has Hell Gaze and Mamudoon, the only way you can die), and make sure to cover any weakness to force or especially elec. Use Estoma to repel most encounters. If you don't have it yet, hopefully you saved your 1 Repulse Bell just for this walk. Mou-Ryo, Aeros, Erthys, Phantom Aquans: REPEL ice WEAK fire Uses Sukukaja. zzzz. Flaemis: DRAIN fire WEAK ice Uses Makakaja. Legion: NULL death RESIST phys WEAK elec/expel Rather high level and hard to kill, I wouldn't bother. Nigi+Ara+Kusi+Saki Mitama: NULL expel/death/ailments RESIST magic GENTLEMEN...BEHOLD...GRAMMAR! The first three wil use a buff/debuff and then Saki Mitama will go last and use either Mazionga or Mazanma. Don't bother fighting them either. --ASAKUSA TUNNEL-- Anathema is good, Narukami also good. Bring as much elec coverage as you can. Naga, Kelpie, Black Ooze, Shikome Raja Naga: DRAIN elec RESIST phys WEAK fire, has COUNTER uses Shock and Tempest. the most dangerous foe Ikusa: WEAK force uses Mudoon. This guy is the reason the Wu Kong route for Hard TDE learns Anti-Death. Also has Mighty Gust, strong though a lil inaccurate. MC Tornado will wipe them out so use your faster demons to eliminate other targets first. Titan: NULL force WEAK elec, has RETALIATE An optional cube for 1100 exp and macca and a Light Ball. Respect their damage and use War Cry. Watch out for Fire Breath and Guillotine. --YOYOGI PARK-- march with Miasma, mayyybe Kamudo if you especially hate Setanta. extra null mind and ice immunity is what you want. Usually this is Arahabaki, Gui Xian/Xuanwu, Unicorn, any Mitamas you have. Every route that I know of runs from every encounter here. The fairies are very hard to kill and there is an extra high chance of reinforcements. Pixie, High Pixie, Jack Frost, Pyro Jack, Kelpie (Only in the first room. You won't see these while Estoma is on anyway) later areas have... Troll: DRAIN ice WEAK mind uses Mabufula and Berserk, and Diarama. Setanta: REPEL force uses Tempest and Guillotine, and Dragon Eye when alone. DO NOT ENGAGE. Oberon: RESIST physical uses Heat Wave and Diarahan? not a concern. Titania: level 57 REPEL expel/death RESIST magic uses Glacial Blast, this is why you want to bring ice coverage. Also has Pulinpa, the single target mind skill, so all the null mind you can bring is also good. --LABYRINTH 1-- (move this section if needed, depending on your route) Shiranui. There is a rare encounter with the very high level Sati, she will almost always go first and use Maragidyne. The other encounters are Ikebukuro enemies like Nekomata, Oni, Momunofu. but also Koppa In the lower floors Arahabaki can appear, prepare for that. --MANTRA COOL RANCH-- Ankh if you want to get ready for Specter 3 on Normal. Estoma will repel all other encounters here (I think 1-3 Angel is the only other one?), but you might encounter 3x Dominion. This is worth 1100 exp and very easy to win. Dominion can use Violet Flash but you'll probably be fine anyway. Beware of Tetrakarn if you're trying to win. --AMALA TEMPLE outdoors-- Hifumi or Ankh. Power, Badb Catha Virtue: REPEL expel WEAK force can use Mahama, and Makarakarn. easy to kill but you should run if they Makarakarn, they might use it forever. Sparna: REPEL force NULL ailments uses Sukukaja and Fog Breath. Zandyne hits pretty hard. In general, never fight these. If you must, go for something cheesy like Pot of Death or Stone Gaze. --AMALA TEMPLE courtyard-- Ankh for maximum safety from Virtue. elements, Mitamas (use Estoma, rare encounters anyway) Troll, Oberon, Dominion, Sparna, Virtue most routes don't fight things in any of the interior temples. If you do, use Mana Drain and Meditation on the road to keep MP high. --WHITE TEMPLE-- Anathema for Legion. Narukami for Phantom (less common encounter) leaves you open to Titania's Glacial Blast. Miasma for Titania leaves you open to Titan's Fire Breath. Use your demons to patch weaknesses. elements+mitamas Phantom, Titania, Legion, Titan Gogmagog: NULL phys/ice WEAK fire usually uses Tarunda/Rakunda/Sukunda on early turns and won't attack. --RED TEMPLE-- Shiranui. Even though Dakini can use Mamudo, Efreet is so much more dangerous, even on Normal. Yaksini, Legion, Phantom Dakini: NULL fire WEAK ice can sometimes use Mamudo but is otherwise not dangerous. Very funny when Daisoujou reflects it and kills them. Efreet: DRAIN fire WEAK ice high level, high agility. has the strongest random target spell in the game Prominence, Fire Boost'd. Even on Normal double hits on MC is death. too scary to fight. --BLACK TEMPLE-- Kamudo or Anathema. Rely on demons for ice coverage. Pazuzu, Phantom Quetzalcoatl: RESIST phys WEAK elec very tanky. Uses Stone Bite and Berserk. Loki: RESIST physical/magic expect Mabufudyne. Ose: NULL death appears alone and often uses Dragon Eye. but likes to chat between every press turn. Give him your Life Stone. --MIFUNASHIRO-- March with Geis if you have it, otherwise do Kamudo. Other Divines are here but not the ones that use expel/light -type attacks. Power, Gogmagog Manikin: <50 HP?? You won't see these if you keep Estoma up. Legend has it a meme king used a Smoke Ball to avoid these terrifying foes. Shiki-Ouji: NULL phys WEAK fire Worst thing to see in the game. Can use Mamudoon and Mahamaon. The only way to live for sure is Endure, which you won't have yet in basically any speedrun. --ASAKUSA TOWN post invasion-- Manikin Sudama, Gogmagog, Shiki-Ouji Sarutahiko, Titan, Titania Power, Virtue, Dominion --YURAKUCHO TUNNEL-- Shiranui on the platforms due to Efreet. Kamudo once you're in the dark sections, Iron Claw is the most likely way to die. Kaiwan: NULL death RESIST magic WEAK expel likes to use defensive kajas and Gathering. May use death element skills on later turns. Loa: NULL death WEAK expel Can use Mamudo on later turns and Last Resort when on low HP, kill them decisively. Rakshasa/Vetala: WEAK expel/elec Has Iron Claw and Berserk. And Stun Claw. Hits pretty hard Cerberus: REPEL fire RESIST physical WEAK ice Has Iron Claw and Binding Cry. Might use Hellfire sometimes? --DIET BUILDING lobby + west wing-- Shiranui Kaiwan, Loa, Efreet, Cerberus Decarabia: RESIST magic Mostly uses Tetrakarn, will start using Megido on later turns. Decarabia, Cerberus, Purski Jinn: DRAIN force WEAK curse Uses Zandyne, I believe the wild versions do have Force Boost. Queen Mab: 573 HP, RESIST magic Can use Dragon Eye when alone and repeatedly cast Maziodyne, this does about 150 damage on Hard. If you're fighting, watch out for her Diarahan. Girimekhala: REPEL phys Uses Binding Cry and has no strong attacks. --DIET BUILDING top floor-- You probably don't even need to bother switching to Kamudo/Kamurogi, everything here is a weak physical attacker. Purski, Decarabia, Girimekhala --LABYRINTH 2-- (move this if needed) Anathema with elec coverage due to Phantom. The upper floors have Phantom, Estoma should repel Slime/Blob/Black Ooze on the first floor. Beware of Ikusa and Mothman. In Kurama route you won't be a high enough level to reject these with Estoma. Unfortunately Shiki-Ouji (small chance of using Mamudoon or Mahamaon) is a rare encounter here. Hresvelgr is an extremely rare encounter in the invisible-walls basement with all the Wilders. --CURSED HALLWAY-- Bring the best ice resist you can. Kamudo on MC is worth it if you have that covered. You also need null mind so summon Pisaca as your Trafuri user, you can use Uzume for healing. Tao Tie: NULL death can use Hell Gaze and Megido, you might like Anathema if you're here on Normal mode. Flauros: NULL death Deathbound can double hit for hundreds of damage. Also has Iron Claw. But mostly they will use War Cry. Nyx: RESIST magic Glacial Blast, also has Dormina+Eternal Rest combo Abaddon: NULL expel/death, RESIST magic, has RETALIATE Has Mabufudyne and Hades Blast. Most likely thing to kill you. Also has Panic Voice, another reason to have null mind. Can't kill with God's Bow. If you're fighting here, you can probably skip Abaddon encounters. If you must win, I recommend healing up then trying to oneshot with Focus. --LABYRINTH 3-- Kamudo is safest, but Kamurogi is dangerous becaue Titan with Fire Breath is here. strength West wing: Titan, Yaksini, Ara Mitama, Onkot, Ose Cerberus + Ara Mitama is a rare encounter. B1 room: Setanta, Oberon, Troll Virtue, Ikusa (can appear together, yikes) Atavaka: REPEL expel/death WEAK mind/nerve i don't even know wtf he does but he's never killed me either. might have Mighty Gust. Yatagarasu: REPEL force NULL expel Has Violet Flash, a decently strong expel/light -type attack. Amaterasu: NULL death/expel/fire also uses expel-type attacks I think? Mikazuchi: REPEL elec NULL expel WEAK force never seen this guy go first, probably attacks with elec. --LABYRINTH 4-- Put away Kamurogi. Loki, Legion, Quetzalcoatl, Loa Decarabia, Girimekhala Gurr (see Tower 1) Rakshasa/Vetala and Mot are rare encounters in the lower floors. Chimera: 426 HP DRAIN fire WEAK ailments Has Fire Breath + Fire Boost, doesn't sound like much but respect it. Can use Kamikaze when below half HP. the room after Wicked King's Hall where you talk to the table girls has the same encounters as Cursed Hallway. --LABYRINTH 5-- One room after Dante is the room full of "the women who serve our master". Basically every female demon. Estoma will reject many encounters, but there is Nyx, Lilith, and Kali on the higher end, as well as Sati and Titania. Make sure you have Mind covered. In the middle is all the birds and beasts. Estoma will also reject many encounters. Sparna, Girimekhala, Gurr, Badb Catha, Yatagarasu, Baihu: NULL ice/expel WEAK fire can use Iron Claw, Bolt Storm and Glacial Blast are also possible On the bottom floor you can meet Barong and Cerberus and Hresvelgr, who have Iron Claw. See Tower 3 for a full description of Hresvelgr. --OBELISK ONE MORE TIME-- Girimekhala, Decarabia, Purski, Queen Mab --TOWER 1-- Definitely the worst area to march through in the game. Both flavours of instant kill are here. On Normal you can learn Anti-Death from Mithra. With Geis from Puzzle Boy (8-10 minute clear time at best) that's the best you can do. Mothman Hard TDE route brings Void Death or Void Expel, use the opposite magatama for instant kill protection. Wu Kong Hard TDE route will have Endure. Ingest Shiranui and field all the fire protection you can, Surt and Throne have random-targeting fire spells. Legion (early floors only) Queen Mab Flauros (see Cursed Hallway) Gurr/Garuru: NULL death WEAK expel, has RETALIATE Somewhat high in agility. Big moveset and you'll hate all of it. Venom Claw, Zandyne, Bolt Storm, Mamudoon. Throne: DRAIN fire NULL expel WEAK ice Uses Prominence and Mahamaon. Surt: 998 HP DRAIN fire NULL death/mind/nerve WEAK ice A very tanky boy. His basic attack counts as Fire element. Likes to use War Cry. Still has Hellfire and will sometimes use Ragnarok too. Shadow: usually uses kajas but can sometimes use Mudoon. in the 1-A terminal tower and room after Ahriman: Tao Tie (see Cursed Hallway) --TOWER 2-- Make sure you have Null mind. Now you have to cover the non-fire elements, elec is a higher priority. Less dangerous than Tower 1 but be prepared. Cerberus, Flauros, Queen Mab Tao Tie, Nyx, Abaddon (see Cursed Hallway) Lilith: NULL death/expel RESIST magic tends to use Maziodyne and Allure. Yurlungur: NULL magic WEAK ailments Attacks with Bolt Storm and Wind Cutter. Can use Medirahan. --TOWER 3-- March with Pisaca for null mind and use Shiranui/Miasma to add element coverage. Shadow, Surt, Abaddon, Lilith, Nyx Hresvelgr: DRAIN ice NULL death RESIST phys WEAK fire Can use Wing Buffet (lmao so weak), Mabufudyne, crit Iron Claw can hit for 522. Mada: DRAIN phys NULL death WEAK curse Debilitate and Hades Blast are in the moveset, not as dangerous as the boss version though. Rather hard to hit with Iron Claw, stack up plenty of agility buffs/debuffs first. Mot: level 91 NULL expel/death WEAK elec has Maragidyne, Mazandyne, and Megidolaon. Highest exp random demon in the game. Aciel: REPEL death NULL expel RESIST magic can use Dragon Eye when alone. Most dangerous attack is Mabufudyne. uses Tetrakarn a lot.
