Neve Paritzki Israel Celebrates Record-Breaking Tourism Entry Numbers from USA
NEW YORK - Sept. 8 2022, /PRNewswire/ Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism has announced record-breaking figures of travelers from the United States who visited Israel during July and August. Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States during July 2022 which was an increase of 4% over 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States during August 2022. This is a 13% increase over the year before. 
 
 
נווה פריצקי Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) declared that it was exciting to observe an increase in tourism to Israel from the United States. Already surpassing the record-breaking numbers of 2019, he said. "The United States is the most popular destination for Israel inbound tourism. Actually, prior to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we had record-breaking numbers of tourism entry month after month. It's a fantastic positive trend that we're very happy about and expect an upward trend for years to come." 
 
Canada is also on track, like the United States, to surpass the amount of tourists that visit Israel. נווה פריצקי In July 2022 Canada received 7,200 visitors and August was a record 6,600.

נווה פריצקי Israel received more than 4.6 million international visitors in the year 2019 and this included 969.600 coming from the United States. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all visitors, regardless whether they're immunized. The country has already hosted more than 600,000.
