Leicester grew into the game and began exploiting the space United were leaving in wide areas. Harvey Barnes looked a constant threat, skipping past defenders with his direct running. In the 30th minute, he picked up the ball out wide and cut inside onto his stronger right foot before unleashing a fierce drive that cannoned back off the post with David de Gea beaten.
The second half continued in similar fashion with both sides trading chances.
